Hey — we're Till and Bengt. Two Berliners with mountain hearts. Every holiday we could manage as kids led us here — to the chalet our father built with his own hands.

We helped where we could, raced soapbox cars down the mountain road, picked mushrooms, climbed every nearby peak, and swam in the Goldegger See until our fingers went wrinkly. These days we bring our own kids. Some places just don't let you go. This isn't an investment property. It's a place that matters to us — which is why we actually care whether you have a good time here, not just whether you checked in.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are pets welcome? Yes — dogs, cats and other pets are very welcome.

How does check-in work? Self check-in via key box. You'll receive the code before arrival.

Is there Wi-Fi? Yes, included. You'll find the name and password on the note in the kitchen.

How far is the ski area? The Embach ski area is walkable. Rauris — our favourite — is about 15 minutes by car.

Can we get there without a car? Yes. Your Kurtaxe card (mountain card) covers all regional buses and trains operated by OREG — free of charge.

What does the cleaning fee cover? €200 end-of-stay cleaning fee, shown separately at booking.

What is the Kurtaxe? A local tourist tax charged per person per night, paid on-site. From May 2026: €3.05 per person/night. The Kurtaxe card includes free travel on all regional buses and trains.

What is the minimum stay? 5 nights.

Is parking available? Yes, directly at the chalet. In winter, plan for some snow shovelling.
