Where you’ll be
Your home in the mountains — and we mean that.
We're Till and Bengt, two Berliners with mountain hearts. Every holiday led us here — to the chalet our father built with his own hands. Now we're sharing it with you.
140 m² of spruce wood, three bedrooms, two bathrooms. Bathtub downstairs, shower room upstairs. The fireplace in the living room sets the mood; the tiled stove in the hallway heats the house. The chalet is electrically heated — the fireplace and tiled stove are the finishing touch on long evenings. Open gallery above the dining area, a kitchen built for real cooking, a table that seats everyone.
Outside: 34 m² of sun terrace with a direct view of the Schareck and Sonnblick peaks. Morning coffee while the Alps wake up. That's not a promise, it's just how it is. Self check-in via key box. Parking directly at the chalet. In winter, plan for a bit of snow shovelling — that's not a downside, that's mountain life.
Dogs, cats and other pets very welcome. Wi-Fi included. Minimum stay: 5 nights. End-of-stay cleaning fee: €200. Tourist tax (Kurtaxe) charged on-site per person per night.

Getting around
Your Kurtaxe card (mountain card) covers all regional buses and trains operated by OREG — no car needed once you're here.
Neighborhood
Embach sits at 1,013 m in the Hohe Tauern National Park — hiking trails to the Hocharn and Katzenköpfe start right outside.
In winter: the Embach ski area is walkable, Rauris (our favourite) is 15 minutes by car.
In summer: swim at the Goldegger See, via ferrata at the Kitzlochklamm (500 m away), rafting in Taxenbach, gold panning in Kolm Saigurn.
Bad weather plan: Gastein thermal spas — 30 minutes away.
